Today we did what all Chinese adoptive families do on the second day with their child; we finalized the adoption at the local civil affairs office. Samantha is officially ours now. Following all of the paperwork, we came back to our hotel to rest. Later, we ate at a Pizza Hut then walked through the mall located next door to our hotel.
Kyle and Samantha played a lot together. But Sammi is beginning to realize she is not going back to her foster parents' home. She cries a lot before going to bed. It's a grieving type of cry. Pray for Samantha as she grieves the loss of her foster family. She does do really well with us during the day, however.
Tomorrow, we are going to a local museum and to a park.
